South Korean TV personality and radio host Kim Young-chul has publicly expressed his admiration for BTS’ Jungkook during a recent episode of his radio show, ‘Kim Young-chul’s Power FM’. The veteran entertainer revealed that he is particularly taken with Jungkook’s short hair, describing the young artist as “handsome” and “thrilling”.
During the segment, which focused on the topic of personal thrills, Kim Young-chul shared that he had received a fan letter from a listener who expressed their admiration for Jungkook’s looks.
“I’m a mother of a 6th grader in elementary school, but I’m crazy about Bangtan’s Jungkook’s short hair.”
Kim Young-chul then proceeded to express his own agreement with the listener’s sentiments, commenting that he too finds Jungkook to be “handsome” and “thrilling”. He also quoted lyrics from a BTS song, “I know an older brother who went around with messy hair and cut his hair beautifully, but he is more handsome than I thought. As expected, being handsome is the best. It’s thrilling. Apply for ‘1 Day From Today’.”
Kim Young-chul also joked about the “good-looking kids” in the K-pop industry, before laughing and quoting another BTS song, “I can’t Our K.will is the most handsome among all the good-looking kids.”
This is not the first time that Kim Young-chul has expressed his admiration for Jungkook. He previously credited the young artist with helping him gain recognition in the United States, after Jungkook drew a picture of him during an appearance on the popular variety show ‘Knowing Bros’.
Jungkook, who is known for his striking visuals and talent as a performer, has been receiving widespread acclaim from fans and industry professionals alike.
