Kartik Aaryan has his plate full with many ventures on his schedule. He is busy with multiple projects and has reportedly joined filmmaker Hansal Mehta who is known for making Scam 1992, Shahid, Aligarh and much more.
As per rumours, the film is said to be a commercial entertainer which will also be based on real life events. The Luka Chuppi actor will be playing an IAF officer who will be the main character for the rescue operation. Before Kartik, R Madhavan, Shah Rukh Khan have portrayed patriotic characters.
Kartik has been on the news for quiet some time for his alleged falling out with Karan Johar which led to him being removed from Dostana 2. This came as a shock to everyone and the production banner, Dharma also confirmed the news by sharing a note on social media. The statement read, “Due to professional circumstances, on which we have decided to maintain a dignified silence — we will be recasting Dostana 2, directed by Collin D’Cunha. Please wait for the official announcement soon.”
The actor will be seen in the sequel to Bhool Bhulaiyaa. It features Kiara Advani and Tabu as the main characters as well. The venture is directed by Anees Bazmee who is known for his iconic films like Welcome, No Entry, Ready, Singh is King and many more. According to reports, two of the popular songs from the original film, Hare Ram and Aami Je Tomar has been recreated for the sequel.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the banner of T-Series. The venture is expected to premiere this year. The first edition of Bhool Bhulaiyaa was released in 2007 with Akshay Kumar in the lead. The star cast of the movie included names like Vidya Balan, Shiny Ahuja, Rajpal Yadav, and Paresh Rawal.
Besides, Rajpal Yadav, there has been a complete makeover of the multi-starrer movie. This time Kartik Aaryan is in the lead alongside Kiara Advani. Furthermore, filmmaker Anees Bazmee recently shared his excitement upon casting Tabu in the movie. Anees said, ” I so wanted to work with Tabu, and this role was apt for her. I offered the role which I felt will suit her stature as a performer. It is not a special appearance, but an important part.
Kartik and Kiara are teaming up for the first time. The duo is working hard with their choreographers. Recently, a video is doing rounds on social media in which the 29-year old can be seen holding Kiara in his arms.
