Justin Hartley Revealed He Is Happy With His Personal Life, A Year After Filing Divorce

This Is Us star filed for divorce from Chrishell Stause nearly a year ago and revealed he is happy with his life.

Justin Hartley opened up while talking on Radio Andy Thursday with Bevy Smith. The actor said he is really happy where he is. He said, “I’m happy with my career. I’m happy with my personal life.” The Young and Restless actor is currently dating his former costar, Sofia Pernas.

The actor revealed that he is healthy, safe, and very thankful. He shared that he does not necessarily mind the attention his personal life gets but he does not encourage it. He said, “If they’re getting entertainment from that, I think it sort of comes with the territory, but I’ve also sort of always had this view that I will have a public life, but I will be very private about my personal affairs.”

The This Is Us star said he thinks people want to know about other people’s personal life but he would caution people. He shared that he alerts his daughter on this all the time. The actor revealed he tells her daughter to not believe everything she reads.

The actor has been private about his personal life and not addressed his split from ex Chrishell Stause. Their breakup was the highlight of the recent season of Selling Sunset as Chrishell claimed she got the news about their divorce via a text.

Justin has been linked to co-star Sofia in May this year after being spotted kissing her while running errands. However, Chrishell had revealed last month that it was painful for her to see the actor move on but she is ready to get back in the game herself.

“I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be” -Chrishell

The Selling Sunset alum shared that anybody would be heartbroken to see how easily they are replaced. The star dropped Justin’s surname legally over the summer. She said, “It’s been almost a year, so I’m excited to get back out there. I’m a hopeless romantic, so I think it can still happen,” the Selling Sunset star said. “It’s 2020, maybe you could meet your person through an Instagram DM. I don’t know. Crazier things have happened!”

Chrishell also has admitted that her life is happy and she is happy with how her life right now. She said she is very happy and in a great place and grateful for everything. “I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be,” said the Selling Sunset star.

A source revealed previously that Justin’s friends are glad that Chrishell is no longer in his life. Justin is said to be doing well and he is disappointed that he is being dragged into reality TV. However, he did expect this, revealed the source.

Justin hopes to take the high road despite the drama revolving around his past relationship with the estranged wife. The insider added that Justin is a great guy and wants to move on with his life in a classy way.

In November 2019, Justin filed for divorce from wife, Chrishell after two years of marriage. The drama started when Chrishell’s Selling Sunset season 3 came out. In the season, the actress made revelations about her marriage dissolution which caused a stir among fans.

Chrishell indicated that he changed after his success skyrocketed due to This Is Us. The realtor then seemed to suggest that the actor had cheated on her.

Chrishell Seems To Direct That Justin Cheated

Chrishell liked tweets about him cheating on her with Sofia Pernas questioning the timing of their relationship. The news about Justin dating Sofia started doing the rounds in May. However, a source assured that Justin’s side has completely denied the allegations. And the couple did not even start talking until 2020.

Justin is said to be irritated with Chrishell’s claims on Selling Sunset. A source said Justin feels frustrated that she is broadcasting their private information publicly. The source added that there is more to the story than the part that is being told. “His close friends and family know what really happened, as does Chrishell, so ultimately it’s her choice of what is put out there,” the insider revealed.

Meanwhile, Justin’s ex-wife, Lindsay Korman-Hartley, has spoken out about the issue. She took to her social media handle to defend the actor. Lindsay said, “I appreciate my ex-husband Justin for not only being [an] exemplification of a solid man but for being my dear friend and devoted father to our daughter.”

She added that people derive their own opinion by experiencing life with other people through time, The mother of one also said, “and we do our best to hold dear the ones that maintain consistent kindness, love, and generosity.”

The Passions alum, 42, who shares 16-year-old daughter Isabella with the Mistresses alum, concluded: “No matter what conflicts Justin and I had in the past, I appreciate what we have today and I am thankful for the family we have built.” Isabella also showed her support by reposting the message on her Instagram Story.

Justin and Chrishell started dating in 2014 after meeting on the set of The Young and the Restless. They got engaged in 2016 and married in 2017.
