While Jennifer Lopez was recently spotted hanging out with ex Ben Affleck, the two are reportedly still just friends.
TMZ reports that the former couple were “just friends,” although they reunited after Lopez and Alex Rodriguez split.
Future Reconciliation Likely
While future reconciliation is possible, Affleck, 48, and Lopez, 51, keep things platonic for now.
However, there are several indications that the two of then could reunite soon, as Affleck has been seen several times seen heading to JLo’s home in California during the day, we hear, after being picked up by a white Escalade SUV allegedly owned by Lopez and taken to his nearby house.
While the two were not seen together, a source told page six, “Security picks him up at a nearby location and drops him off after spending a few hours at her house.”
Probably My First Heart Break
Affleck and Lopez exchanged rings and engaged in 2002, and became popularly known as “Benneifer”. But they postponed their marriage in 2003. They broke up months later in January 2004. Lopez called her split with Affleck “probably my first big heart”.
J. Lo has a great relationship with several exes, including Affleck, Sean “Diddy” Combs and the father of her two children, Marc Anthony. She was also seen having dinner with A-Rod shortly after confirming their break-up.
“There still seems to be love and respect there,” said a source about the reunion after the split.

Recently single, Jennifer Lopez and ex-boyfriend, Ben Affleck have sparked reconciliation rumours after they were spotted together. This comes after Jennifer broke up with her ex-fiance, Alex Rodriguez.
The ship-name used for both Jennifer and Ben is doing the rounds on the Internet again after the rumors of the former couple hanging out has been revealed. It is also reported that the duo have been spending time together in Los Angeles.
There are also claims that Ben has visited Jennifer three times already since she returned to the US. She came back to the US after wrapping work on film Shotgun Weddings in the Dominican Republic.
The reunion of the former couple comes just two weeks after Jennifer’s relationship with Alex collapsed. One Twitter user wrote: “Me at 40 thinking about me at 21 thinking about Bennifer.”
Another user questioned what year it was as Bennifer and Abercrombie was trending on Twitter. Meanwhile, one user mocked their secret meetings as they wrote, “Working hard on Gigli 2”. This was a reference to the critically savaged comedy of Jennifer and Ben back in 2003.
