Recently single, Jennifer Lopez and ex-boyfriend, Ben Affleck have sparked reconciliation rumours after they were spotted together. This comes after Jennifer broke up with her ex-fiance, Alex Rodriguez.
The ship-name used for both Jennifer and Ben is doing the rounds on the Internet again after the rumors of the former couple hanging out has been revealed. It is also reported that the duo have been spending time together in Los Angeles.
According to reports, Ben has been secretly taken to one of Jennifer’s mansions in her SUV so they can spend some time together. It is also revealed that the singer’s security is trying their best to keep their meetings a secret. A source revealed: “Security picks him up at a nearby location and drops him off after spending a few hours at her house.”
There are also claims that Ben has visited Jennifer three times already since she returned to the US. She came back to the US after wrapping work on film Shotgun Weddings in the Dominican Republic. The reunion of the former couple comes just two weeks after Jennifer’s relationship with Alex collapsed. One Twitter user wrote: “Me at 40 thinking about me at 21 thinking about Bennifer.”
Another user questioned what year it was as Bennifer and Abercrombie was trending on Twitter. Meanwhile, one user mocked their secret meetings as they wrote, “Working hard on Gigli 2”. This was a reference to the critically savaged comedy of Jennifer and Ben back in 2003.
Ben & Jennifer Have Always Been Friends
According to sources, the couple have been friends and apparently they have always been friends. The former couple were seeing each other from 2002 to 2004. This also included a near wedding of the two in 2003 as the wedding was postponed three days before the big day.
Ben moved on and married actress Jennifer Garner in 2005 and shares three children with her. However, the pair went their separate ways in 2015 and got divorced in 2018. He recently dated Cuban actress Ana de Armas between 2019 and January this year. Meanwhile, JLo has been married three times since to Ojani Noa between 1997 and 1998; ris Judd between 2001 and 2003; and to Marc Anthony, with whom she shares two children, between 2004 and 2014.
The actress had begun seeing A-rod since 2017 and got engaged with him in 2019. They were set to get married last year but had to postpone their wedding due to the ongoing pandemic. However, they called it quits in April this year.
