Bollywood actress Fatima Sana Shaikh has responded to the rumours of her dating another actress Sanya Malhotra!
Dangal was one film which impressed everyone. Starring Aamir Khan along with young girls Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra, the film has some really power-packed performance.
However, the leading girls Fatima and Sanya have been rumoured to be dating each other, looking at their close bond. Just because they have been really good friends after working with each other, their relationship has been misinterpreted.
Fatima has now responded to all those dating rumours as she spoke on Zee Café’s show Starry Nights Gen Y. She clearly said that both of them have been unfazed by all such reports on their relationship. She said, “We simply laughed about it. Just because we are good friends, they assumed the worst.”
When asked about Sanya, she said, “I have learnt a lot from her. For one, Sanya likes to keep everything clean. While she is an introvert and I am an extrovert, I learnt to hold myself back at times. I also learnt a lot from her dedication to work.”
The two young actresses had played the role of sisters Geeta and Babita Phogat in the film Dangal. Now they are a part of another film – Anurag Basu’s crime anthology Ludo. However, they will not be sharing screen spaces as they feature in different segments of the film.
Talking about the film, it also stars Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Bachchan, Aditya Roy Kapur and Pankaj Tripathi. The film was scheduled for a release in April. But owing to the current lockdown, there are reports of it having an OTT release.
