Ed Sheeran Is Set To Become The Face of TikTok After Signing A Big Money Deal

The singer had recently went viral after appearing in a video with Friends actress, Courtney Cox. And now, Ed Sheeran is reportedly going to become the face of social media app, TikTok.

As per reports, the musician has already begun filming with TikTok in London. The app views this partnership as a big success. A source told The Sun: “It is a huge coup to get someone as big as Ed on board and everyone is really excited about the end result.”

The source further added that TikTok is a huge platform for artists now and Ed is witnessing it. As per the source, the musician wanted to get involved in the project and what he has prepared for them is exciting. This comes after the singer hinted at possible new music in a cryptic social media post.

He took to his social media handle as he shared a photograph of himself holding a guitar. The ‘Perfect’ singer teased with the caption, “Somethings cookin’.” Ed was sitting on a stone with the back facing the camera. Fans began speculating that his post was about him “cooking” new music. They asked him if he was releasing a new album and admitted to missing him.

Ed has not released an album since 2019 for the No. 6 Collaborations Project. The album included the work of other artists such as Justin Bieber, Camila Cabello, Travis Scott, Eminem, 50 Cent, and Cardi B among many others. He made a surprising comeback with Afterglow after 18 months without releasing any music.

Ed Does The Routine With Courtney Cox

According to an insider, Ed sees this collaboration with TikTok as a new opportunity to advertise his upcoming work. This comes right after the singer recreated a classic Friends dance with Courtney Cox. The duo joined forces in a playful Instagram video where they matched Monica and Ross’ famous dance, The Routine, on the sixth season.

“Just some routine dancing with a friend…” she captioned the hilarious video while tagging Ed and adding the hashtag, “ReRoutine.” The actress was wearing a casual low-cut black short-sleeve top and black jeans with matching sneakers for the clip.

Meanwhile, Ed was dressed in a low-key manner with a brown suede jacket over a plain white T-shirt, light jeans and bright red trainers. The singer comically mimicked Ross’ gesture as he pointed from Courtney’s eyes to his before she counted out, “five, six, seven, eight”.

The video ended the exact opposite way The Routine ended. Courtney rushed in to jump into Ed’s arms, but instead of catching her they were both flat on the ground. They played the exact audio from the show as it also featured the audience laughing at the back,
