The pop star and his girlfriend walked on the red carpet at the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards on May 27. It was revealed then that the music executive, Jenn Goicoechea and Usher were expecting another baby.
She showed off her baby bump in a black gown while Usher served as a host and a performer for the ceremony. This will be their second child together as they would be giving a sibling to 8-month-old daughter, Sovereign. The couple had welcomed their first child in September of last year.
The singer had first sparked romance rumours with Jenn back in 2019 and also shared Usher Raymond V, and Naviyd Ely Raymond with ex-wife, Tameka Foster. When the musician appeared on The Ellen Show back in November, he shared the first public photo of little Sovereign. He noted that him and the little one share the same Zodiac sign.
“She came out early,” he explained. “She was scheduled to be a Scorpio but decided she had a different plan. Libras, you know—they kinda have their minds made up on what they wanna do.” Usher had also revealed that his sons were excited to be big brothers.
The singer joked that he himself was looking forward to having another little one to impress. He shared how he become less cooler dad as they become older. The musician said, “So now I’m starting this whole cycle over again and I’m kind of the apple of her eye right now.”
Before the iHeartRadio Music Awards ceremony, Usher had revealed his excitement about participating in a major event. He tweeted that he cannot wait to be back on-stage performing and hosting the 2021 iHeartAwards.
