The MCU characters of Wanda Vision were not going to end up being romantically linked to Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany. Avengers: The age of Ultron was an important landmark for both Olsen and Bettany during their MCU travels in 2015. Finally the strengths of their partnership contributed to WandaVision, which won fans and critics generous rewards earlier this year. WandaVision gave the MCU the opportunity to really explore the special titular relationship and its personalities. The series did not end with the couple’s happy note, but something can happen with Wanda still practising magic and an alternative Vision that flies in the skies. The dynamics of Olsen and Bettany may have come as a surprise, but it is safe to assume that they worked well.
