Cody Rhodes' WWE Status: Backstage Information

Cody Rhodes’ WWE Status: Backstage Information

Dave Meltzer just stated that Cody Rhodes’ plans have changed yet again. He was on the internal books as of this past Friday’s episode of SmackDown, and creative was getting ready for his comeback. However, that is no longer the case, and his future is unknown. While the conflict between Cody Rhodes and WWE is far from finished, it is a matter of waiting after seeing how things unfold. WWE believed they seemed to have the former AEW Executive Vice President, but they are currently unsure.

From the moment he departed All Elite Wrestling, there have been conflicting reports about the former three-time TNT Champion. Cody Rhodes has yet to make a public statement on his plans for the future in wrestling, or if he intends to retire from the sport entirely. At this time, it’s unclear whether he’ll be returning to WWE.

Cody Rhodes has signed a contract with WWE. According to the rumour, Rhodes signed with WWE 10-14 days ago.

New plans for Rhodes

The new plan is for Rhodes is to make his appearance round Wrestlemania weekend, as per Johnson. Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins has been rumoured to occur at WrestleMania 38, as previously reported. Dave Meltzer reported earlier this week that the match was still listed for next month’s event internally. Rollins’ inability to find a way to WrestleMania was the subject of a WWE storyline.

Rhodes will very certainly be signed to the Raw label. Cody Rhodes has decided to contract with WWE, and The American Nightmare is anticipated to make his debut during WrestleMania 38 weekend, as originally reported. Booker T said that Cody Rhodes’ return would be a major shakeup for the team. He also doubts that Cody expected him to return so soon.

“I’m not sure what the situation is with AEW’s breakup. On the other hand, I know when Cody left WWE, but I am not certain or anything like that. I am not 100 percent certain on this by any means. However, I can only guess that WWE would be the last place Cody would have expected to return in less than three years. “I might be completely incorrect,” he said. “However, if the door is open for Cody, I believe it would be a fantastic move for Cody to go right through that Forbidden Door and change things up.” Because Cody Rhodes returning to WWE would be a massive shakeup.
