Cody Rhodes Again Gets Injured During WWE Royal Rumble

Cody Rhodes has revealed that he got new injury as a result of the WWE Royal Rumble premium live event. At the Royal Rumble premium live event, Cody finally made a comeback after missing out on in-ring action for several months due to injuries.

At number 30, The American Nightmare lasted more than 15 minutes before defeating Gunther to claim victory in the Men’s Royal Rumble battle. He will compete against the world champion in WrestleMania 39’s main event. Rhodes disclosed that he had sustained a fresh wound. “I popped my eardrums; don’t tell anyone, and don’t record it on a medical record.”

“What a night it was not to hear much, then. However, I could clearly hear them, and it’s a lovely moment,” he said. After winning the men’s Royal Rumble match, Cody Rhodes spoke. When a member of Cody Rhodes’ family passed away on Wednesday, the WWE Universe wept alongside him. Cody Rhodes’ brother, AEW star Dustin Rhodes, announced the information on social media. Cody comes from a line of wrestlers. His father, Dusty Rhodes in the WWE, was a multiple-time champion.

Dusty and Sandra

Virgil Riley Runnels Jr. Dustin was born to his first spouse, Sandra Runnels, in 1969. Dusty and Sandra divorced in 1975, and three years later, the WWE legend married Michelle Rubio, and Cody Rhodes was conceived outside of marriage. Through his social media, Dustin regularly kept followers informed of Sandra Runnels’ health. Since the beginning of 2022, she has fought a protracted illness, and in February of that year, she was hospitalised.

Dustin asked for prayers on December 19 for his mother’s health. The former WWE superstar also answered a fan’s question about his mother’s condition by saying, “Not good.” There were rumors that Cody Rhodes’ stepmother had cancer. He promised fans that she was no longer in pain despite not mentioning the specifics of her illness. Dustin Rhodes shared a photo of himself holding his mother’s hand in her final moments on Twitter and Instagram with a heavy heart.
