Call of Duty is collaborating with The Terminator franchise in its new season. This is not the first time that COD is getting a crossover with a franchise. Call of Duty made the decision to try it out after watching Fortnite’s incredible popularity with the incorporation of characters from Marvel, DC, and other popular brands.
Well, collaborating action games with franchises seems to be an interesting choice as it gives a new look to the entire gaming experience. In addition to certain 80s action idols like Rambo and John McClane, we have already seen horror legends like Jigsaw, Leatherface, and Ghostface. The Godzilla vs. King Kong event in Call of Duty: Warzone featured the two giants on the Caldera map, making it one of the largest crossover events in any game.
A few weeks back Call of Duty had teased its collaboration with The Terminator franchise. There were rumors about it for a long time but now we can actually see it happening. The new season will run throughout the month of August that will feature themes around The Terminator.
In both Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Vanguard, Terminator packs will be offered. Along with the new MVP, the play of the game, and finishing animations, One will also have the iconic T-800, a.k.a. Arnold Schwarzenegger.
In addition to that, the game will also feature Neural Net Processor, Ultra Assault Rifle Weapon Blueprint, Coltan Alloy, and Motorhead, Legendary Weapon Blueprints, Always Scanning Charm, “I’ll Be Back” Animated Emblem, and the “Infrared Optics” Reticle. Sounds familiar? well if it is, then you are correct as all this equipment is inspired by The Terminator theme.
The other equipment in the game involves a T-1000 motorcycle cop from Terminator 2: Judgment Day with updated animations, blueprints for three legendary weapons, a watch, an animated calling card, and an emblem. Although no price was given, it is expected that they will cost roughly 20 CoD points.

It is important to note that the previously achieved skins in the game will not be transferred to Call of Duty: Warzone 2, the new season. Warzone 2’s release date is currently unknown, however, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is planned for October.
