Britney Spears Had A Lot To Say About Jamie Lynn’s Interview

Jamie Lynn Spears made an appearance on Good Morning America yesterday to promote her new book, Things I Should Have Said, a memoir about her life and her version of events surrounding her sister’s highly famous 13-year conservatorship.

Britney has made it obvious that she holds her entire family responsible for the conservatorship’s duration, which ended in November. Many were waiting for Britney’s response after Jamie Lynn said yesterday that she “didn’t understand what was happening” when the conservatorship was imposed.

So, now you have it. Britney posted to Twitter earlier today to criticise Jamie Lynn’s interview, claiming that she is exploiting Britney’s painful court struggle “to sell a book” at her “cost,” and revealing that she learned of the GMA appearance while unwell with a 104-degree fever.

“So I got really sick last night…104 fever, maybe higher, not sure because I stopped checking,” she wrote. “I needed Aleve for the pain in my head, I had nothing. I called my security, ‘Can you please go get me something to relieve the pain in my head? My fever is pretty high.'” The singer continued that she immediately apologized and said she cannot leave the premises.

Britney explained until there is an emergency she has to stay on property. She continued that it was the sarcasm in his voice and not what he said to her as he said he cannot go get it for her. The singer looked at her phone after that and saw that her sister did an interview to promote her new book.

“…why are they even talking about that unless she wants to sell a book at my expense?”

The singer stated, “It was actually kind of nice to watch it with a fever so high I had to surrender to not caring. The two things that did bother me that my sister said was that my behaviour was out of control. She was never around me much 15 years ago at that time, so why are they even talking about that unless she wants to sell a book at my expense?”

Britney mentioned when the interviewer asked Jamie about Britney’s accusation of doing remixes of her songs. The singer said it might sound like a silly thing to many but she wrote a lot of her songs. She continued that her sister was the baby and never had to work for anything. The pop star said, “Everything was always given to her.”

She added, “If you were me, you might understand asking for 13 years for remixes to go into a small venue show and on tours. Thirteen years later, they assign me as the MOTHER OF ALL.” Jamie Lynn, Kelsea Ballerini, Hailee Steinfeld, and Sofia Carson did a series of remixes to Britney’s songs at the 2017 Radio Music Awards, which Britney is referring to.

Britney Spears expressed her dissatisfaction with the performances on Instagram in July of last year, writing, “I don’t like that my sister showed up at an awards show and performed MY SONGS to remixes. My so-called support system hurt me deeply!!!!”

“…. her only words were, ‘Well, it wasn’t my idea.'”

Britney went on to express her feelings on the occurrence in her most recent Tweets: “I do remember asking my sister why she did that when she knew I was waiting to change my show, and her only words were, ‘Well, it wasn’t my idea.’ Hope your book does well, Jamie Lynn! I won’t be doing Instagram for a while. The media – this business has always been extremely hateful to me. I’ve given enough…MORE than enough. I was never given back ever what I want.”

Britney went on to say that she is “disgusted” by her family’s treatment of her. “They say in the Bible, ‘ask and you shall receive,’ uh, not in my life. Just like my family, I asked security for Aleve as I laid there with 104 degree fever and he told me NO! My family ruined my dreams 100 billion percent and tried to make me look like the crazy one. My family loves to put me down and hurt me always, so I am disgusted with them!!”

Concluding her statement she said she feels like her head is in two “basketballs” because it is sore from the fever. She added that she does not feel like crying anymore because it makes it worse.
