Brian Austin Green Doesn’t Rule Out Reuniting With Ex Megan Fox Despite Her MGK Romance: ‘You Never Know’

After ten years of marriage and three kids, Brian Austin Green isn’t ruling out the possibility of reconciling his relationship with estranged wife, Megan Fox.

“I Never say Never”

Speaking in an Instagram Q&A, Brian was asked whether he and Megan would ‘work things out,’ to which he admitted that their romantic “paths” could cross again. While the pair, who split in May, have both been romantically linked to other people, the actor told his 460k Instagram followers, “I never say never.”

Talking about getting back together with Megan, he continued, “You never know. I kinda feel like people are on paths in life and sometimes your paths are together. And you travel that path together and you see eye to eye and then sometimes those paths do different things.”

“We shared a lot together and we really went through a lot together”

Brian went on to say that he and Megan, who is now dating rapper Machine Gun Kelly, had “an amazing 15 year relationship” that created “three beautiful kids.” But he explained that right now they are not on the same paths. “We shared a lot together and we really went through a lot together,” he said. “So right now the paths are different and she is on her path doing what she feels she needs to be doing to be happy. And I’m on my path doing what I feel I need to do to be happy. It’s not for a lack of love for the kids or lack of being responsible, it’s really important to take care of yourself. It’s important for us as parents to take care of ourselves. I wish her all the best and I wish myself the best as well.”

“Do I like Megan’s new man?”

Although the actor has shaded his wife’s new relationship in the past, Green said he wished her “all the best,” and that he had nothing against her new boyfriend.

“Do I like Megan’s new man?” he asked, reading a fan’s question. “I’ve never met him, I have no idea. I can say, yeah, I’ve heard bad stories about him, but I’ve heard bad stories about myself as well and I know most of those aren’t true.” The star added, “As of right now, I have no problem with him at all. I really hope that he and Megan are happy.”

“At some point, I think our paths will regulate a bit and run parallel to each other”

The father of three went on to note that it would be “selfish” of him to only want the Transformers actress “to be happy with me.” “We did that for 15 years. If that has run its course, then so be it. That’s not a failure,” Green said. “It was a really special relationship, and it still is.”

“At some point, I think our paths will regulate a bit and run parallel to each other. Not necessarily the same but that’s okay,” he added. “Sometimes you have to sort of really swing far away from something to find a more stable ground to stand on.”

Brian and Megan

Green announced he and Fox separated late last year after she came back from filming a movie overseas and asked for space. They married in 2010 after meeting in 2004 and getting engaged in 2006. The couple share three children, Noah, 7, Bodhi, 6, and Journey, 4, together. Brian also shares an 18-year-old son, Kassius with his ex, Vanessa Marcil. Since his split from Megan in May, both parents have been seen out and about with their children at separate times. Which seems to indicate their co-parenting is going well.

“It doesn’t mean I’m a s* person!”

Ever since the former lovebirds announced their separation, Brian has been spotted hanging out with various women, including Courtney Stodden and Tina Louise. Brian, who was criticised for being seen on dates after splitting with his wife, spoke about how unreasonable he found the situation in a Hollywood Raw podcast.

Green told hosts, Dax Holt and Adam Glyn, “I’m not playing anybody. My life is just much more under a microscope than somebody else’s. Isn’t that dating?” he offered. “Aren’t you supposed to talk to multiple people? It doesn’t mean I’m a s* person. That’s what you’re supposed to do, meet people and experience life.” He added, “When you start finding commonalities with someone, then it becomes something bigger. You have to be willing to get out there and put yourself out there. But I get judged for it, I think, unfairly.”

‘Locked In’

Megan on the other hand, has gone on to become Instagram official with her rapper beau. The couple first started hanging out around the same time she appeared in the music video for his song “Bloody Valentine.”

Megan and Kelly confirmed their romance a short time later in June and have been sharing cute social media posts about each other ever since. They also have an upcoming movie together, titled, Midnight in the switchgrass. The rapper recently shared that the pair are “locked in.”
