BMW India CEO Rudratej Singh dies of heart attack

Rudratej Singh, CEO of BMW INDIA, died on Monday of a heart attack. He held top positions in several companies.

Rudratej Singh, CEO of BMW India, died on Monday morning of heart attack. The company said in a statement that BMW INDIA is pained with the news of the death of its 46-year-old chairman and CEO Rudratej Singh on 20 April 2020. However, the company has not given any reason for Singh’s death. But sources have confirmed him to have a heart attack.

The company said, “Our condolences are with his family and family in this difficult time.” He will always be remembered as an inspirational personality. ”BMW India said that it was more of a departure from his time when we were working on a strategy to strengthen our dealer network across the country. His vision and strategy in a challenging business environment have helped BMW India grow significantly.

Held top positions in many companies
German company BMW had handed over the command of Singh for his work in India on 1 August 2019. Singh was fondly called ‘Rudy’. He was the first Indian appointed to head BMW India. Prior to joining BMW, Singh was the Group President of Royal Enfield. Prior to that, he worked for 16 years in FMCG company Unilever in various positions in India and other international markets.
