It is being circulated online that “official sources” have confirmed that Act 1 of Beyoncé’s new album ‘Renaissance’ will have 16 tracks including 8 features and a track featuring her own daughter Blue Ivy.
28-time Grammy winner Beyoncé Knowles-Carter took fans by surprise on Wednesday night by recealinv the title and release date of her highly-anticipated seventh studio album.
The 40-year-old R&B diva, who has 348.5M social media followers, changed her Instagram/Twitter bios to read: ‘act i RENAISSANCE 7.29.’
Fans can now pre-order the four $39.99 Renaissance box sets, which come in different mystery ‘poses’ and includes a T-shirt, CD, 28-page booklet, and mini-poster.
Beyoncé had first hinted that the follow-up to her hit 2016 visual album Lemonade would represent a ‘renaissance’ last August.
‘With all the isolation and injustice over the past year, I think we are all ready to escape, travel, love, and laugh again. I feel a renaissance emerging, and I want to be part of nurturing that escape in any way possible,’ the Be Alive singer had stated in her Harper’s Bazaar cover story.
“I’ve been in the studio for a year and a half. Sometimes it takes a year for me to personally search through thousands of sounds to find just the right kick or snare. One chorus can have up to 200 stacked harmonies.”
“Still, there’s nothing like the amount of love, passion, and healing that I feel in the recording studio. After 31 years, it feels just as exciting as it did when I was nine years old. Yes, the music is coming!’”
Beyoncé added: ‘I have paid my dues and followed every rule for decades, so now I can break the rules that need to be broken. My wish for the future is to continue to do everything everyone thinks I can’t do.’
Although there’s no official confirmation regarding Blu Ivy feature on the upcoming Beyoncé album, it is certainly a news that has gotten fans excited.
