Big Latto-Nicki Minaj Drama Explained Over Grammy Nominations

There is a drama brewing as Nicki Minaj and Big Latto are having a feud on the internet. Minaj expressed her displeasure with her song, Super Freaky Girl being removed from the Grammys rap category. However, the song has been changed to be in the pop category.

The rapper urged that Big Latto’s song should also be in the pop category treating it the same way as her song. Minaj expressed on Twitter that she was not happy with her song being removed from the rap category. She talked about Latto’s Big Energy song and said,

“I have no prob being moved out the RAP category as long as we r ALL being treated FAIRLY,” said Minaj. “If SFG has 2B moved out RAP then so does Big Energy! ANY1 who says diff is simply a Nicki hater or a troll. I’d actually LUV 2 c a more street record win- male OR female! IJS rightIsRight.”

Latto responded to this and said she cannot win for losing and said that she cannot even celebrate these awards and nominations. Moving ahead, Minaj called out the 23-year-old and pointed out how Latto claims to be a fan but decides to be silent. She added that Latto should speak up for a black woman who she called her biggest inspiration.

The 23-year-old singer responded by saying she did not want to show public support on the internet. She further claimed that she did not address the Super Freaky Girl’s removal from the rap category. Latto believes that Minaj was not saying good things about her on social media before.

“Ur literally older than my mom tryna be a bully”

The young rapper further explained how she has been ignoring several tweets and went on to address her in the DMs. She then answered Minaj’s question about not defending her and said it is the same answer she gave her when she did not congratulate her.

But she did not stop there as she said, “Ur literally older than my mom tryna be a bully.” Minaj clapped back and responded that she thought Latto was at least 35. Meanwhile, Nicki’s fans proved that she was not throwing shade at Latto before.

The rapper went ahead and shared text messages from Latto and herself where she politely declined three collaborations. With the next tweet, Minaj slammed Latto and claimed she created a fake narrative of them having beef. The rapper also made a tweet about Latto not caring about rape when she was begging for features.
