Batgirl Antagonist Brendan Fraser Calls Leslie Grace ‘A Stone-Cold Professional’

Last month was not good for DC and Batgirl Fans. The cancellation of the film has led to shock and disappointment, as one will never get to see the most anticipated movie of the year.

The Directors, El Arbi & Bilall Fallah too shared their thoughts about the film being shelved. They were ‘saddened’ and ‘shocked’ by the news. For Leslie Grace it was her first debut, she too broke the silence on the decision by sharing a heartfelt message.

Many characters were supposed to debut in the film like Michael Keaton’s Batman, Brendan Fraser’s Firefly & Jk Simmon’s James Gordon. In a recent conversation with Popverse, Brendan Fraser expressed his thoughts on Leslie Grace.

Fraser praised The Batgirl Actress by calling her a ‘Dynamic’. He says, ” Leslie Grace is her namesake. She’s dynamic”. The 53-year-old actor appreciated Leslie’s great performance in the film.

He says ‘She is a stone-cold professional. You’re going to see more from her. And I’m looking forward to it.’ Leslie Grace while expressing her thoughts about the film has spoken about her dynamic with Brendan Fraser.

She termed this journey to be an incredible learning experience. She called Brendan to be one of the nicest people she has ever met. Further, she adds, ‘In our fight sequences the way he would just hit marks, it came from all of his experience. You can’t improvise that kind of experience.”

Batgirl Funeral Screenings

It was known that secret screenings for the Batgirl film are going to happen, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Some sources also named it ‘Funeral Screenings’. This screening was only for selective people mostly the ones who have worked on the film i.e cast and crew. Later after screenings, the movie will spend its afterlife in a physical or digital vault.

The tax write-off will commence immediately once the movie is locked away in its undisclosed location. Warner Bros wanted to immediately take a tax write-down, that’s the reason it shelved the movie, some sources told THR.
