AskTheDr Promises To Burn 2 Billion Shib Coins On Hitting 50k Instagram Followers

The Canadian Healthcare company ‘Ask The Doctor’ recently accepted Shiba Inu as an official mode of payment. They even added SHIB on their balance sheet by purchasing more than 60 billion coins.

Taking to its official Twitter handle, the company tweeted: “Ask The Doctor has added ~$1.5M USD (approx 31B $shib) to our balance sheet via Kraken”.

‘We Will Burn 2 Billion SHIB’

And guess what? The company has now decided to burn 2 billion SHIB once they hit 50,000 followers on their Twitter and Instagram accounts each.

We will burn 2B $shib when both these are met:

1. Our twitter account reaches 50k followers!

2. Our instagram account reaches 50k followers!

If you’re not aware about Coin Burns, it is essentially the practice of destroying the coin so that it is not available for further and is wiped off the supplies. This is done by sending the coins to any forgotten or specialized wallets whose private keys are not accessible. This, in turn, removes the token from supply and helps boost the price of the cryptocurrency.

ShibArmy Reacts

The ShibArmy was delighted upon the news and flooded the comments section of the tweet with support. At the time of writing this article, the Twitter handle of Ask The Doctor has 33,000 followers while it’s Instagram account is at 12,000 followers.

“ShibArmy will give you more than 50K”, said one comment while another user told “That’s awesome! Thanks for contributing to the burn! Also Steven Cooper is doing a shib Christmas burn party! 5$ tickets amongst other ways to contribute. The $$ goes to burn shib!! Spread the word!”
