Kim Kardashian and Kanye West appear to make the most of their influence in the eyes of the public. This is one couple who knows how to keep their admirers thinking and interested in their relationship at all times.
From the beginning, KimYe has managed to stay in the spotlight, whether it’s because of their extravagant purchases, their wardrobe choices, the brand Yeezy; a change in Kim’s fashion taste attributed to Kanye, their four children, or their divorce. Fans and the media have studied every detail, and it appears that there is never enough of the power couple, as they manage to keep everyone on the edge of their seats with the query, “What’s happening?”
Despite Kim’s claims that she has divorced Ye, which is now his legal name; the rapper acknowledged the reality star as his wife in his first public comment following the divorce news. Ye said on the Drink Champs podcast that Kim is “still his wife” and that he “never even seen” the divorce paperwork.
He further slammed the authors of Kim’s smash debut episode of ‘SNL’ for reportedly using the joke in which Kim said she divorced Ye due to his personality for marketing purposes. He reiterated that he was still not divorced. “You know, SNL made my wife say ‘I divorced him’ on TV just to get that bar off,” he explained. He added, “And I ain’t never even seen the papers. We not even divorced … ’cause that ain’t no joke to me,” he added.

Ye maintains that he is still very much in love with Kim and is unaware of the divorce process. However, sources close to the family claim that the divorce is still in the works. The pair is reported to be “privately working on rebuilding the foundation of their relationship”; in order to provide a “healthy and sturdy foundation of love and support” for their four children; who, according to Ye, are not in favour of their separating.
“My kids want they parents to stay together. … I want us to be together,” he remarked, adding that the media is preventing them from rekindling their relationship. “But if you look at the media, that’s not what they promoting. That’s not what they want. They want it to be a new wedding, a new episode, a new TV show.”
He also blamed Kim’s publicist, whom he claimed was having a bad impact on their relationship. “And then they have people all around in my wife’s ear,” Ye was referring to Kim’s crew.
“That publicist that’s next to her, I don’t f*ck with her”. Following their appearance on SNL, Kim and Pete Davidson have ignited romance speculations. According to sources, Ye is upset about paparazzi images of them taken in both Los Angeles and Davidson’s hometown of New York.
According to reports, Ye did not approve of the images of the couple holding hands and requested that Kim “refrain” from demonstrating PDA until their divorce was finalised.
