Amy Grant continues her recovery from the Bike accident, as she has postponed her remaining tour dates for the month of August.
Amy Grant faced an injury in a bike accident, that’s why she was hospitalized in late July at the Vanderbilt Hospital. It was reported that she was wearing a helmet while riding the cycle, also she was with her friend and she fell off after hitting a pit hole which caused her bruises and concussions.
Later that week itself they release a statement informing the fans that the tour dates are now postponed as Amy is still in her recovery phase and also its “doctors orders” as well. Now she has also postponed the rest of her fall dates as well, it was confirmed by her official Instagram and Twitter page.
Amy Grant has postponed her September & October tour dates further, she writes on her Twitter handle @Amygrant, ” Friends, we regretfully need to postpone Amy’s tour in Sept/Oct to give more recovery time from injuries & a concussion from a bicycling accident on July 27th, 2022. “
Further her tweet also included that she will reschedule her tour dates next year from February-April ’23. The dates of the same will be informed soon on their website.
Amy Grant’s Manager Statement On Her Accident
The statement released by Amy Grant’s Manager assures fans that she is recovering and is getting stronger every day just like she did while she had heart surgery. She further continues that they are amazed by her ability to heal so soon. They made the decision to postpone the tour by keeping in mind Amy’s recovery so that she can focus more on her health and “rebuild her stamina”.
She concludes by saying, ” She wants to be able to give 100% when she tours and, unfortunately, we do not think that will be the case by the time rehearsals would start for the fall dates.”
