Bell Bottom, starring Akshay Kumar, is out today, and unlike other films, it will be released in theatres. Cinemas have been open in numerous regions of the country, and Bell Bottom’s debut is the perfect occasion for people to return to the theatres. Ajay Devgn wished Akshay on Thursday and described his theatrical debut as “praiseworthy.”
Ajay Devgn uploaded a Bell Bottom poster on his Instagram Story and wished the actor luck with the film’s premiere. He penned, “Dear Akki, I’ve heard great things about Bell Bottom. Congratulations.”
Ajay Devgn, whose film Bhuj: The Pride of India was recently released on OTT, praised Akshay Kumar and the Bell Bottom crew for taking the risk of releasing the picture in theatres rather than on streaming platforms. “Also, taking the risk of having it a theatrical release is admirable. Bell Bottom will be released on 1600 screens on Wednesday, with the number of screens perhaps increasing. However, film releases in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala are still prohibited. The movie is getting three shows per day on average in single screens, but multiplexes are pushing it to five shows per day per screen.

The 53-year-old actor said, “Experience the excitement with all your senses on August 19th” #BellBottom is also coming out in 3D.
Bell Bottom is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, and Nikkhil Advani.
As produced by Aseem Arrora and Parveez Shaikh, the film is set in the 1980s and follows one of India’s unsung heroes.
Bell Bottom was meant to be released in April, but it was postponed until July 27 due to the second wave of the coronavirus outbreak in India. It will be the first major Hindi film to hit theatres since the outbreak.
