Gigi Hadid celebrates 33 weeks of pregnancy by sharing New Maternity Shoot Photos

Last week, Gigi Hadid gave her fans a good look at her bare baby bump in a set of black-and-white pregnancy portraits from her first maternity shoot, taken in late July.

“Cherishing this time. Appreciate all the love & well wishes ♡ will never forget creating these special images,’ said the Vogue model in an Instagram. She even thanked her ‘friends,’ photographers Liugi and Iango, stylist Gabriella Karefa-Johnson and makeup artist Erin Parsons. All of whom worked on her shoot. “Thank you. I love you!” added the blonde beauty.

‘Growin an angel :),’ the former Guess model wrote in another caption as she revealed the shoot took place on July 26. There were also several ‘behind the scenes’ images shared.

“A few more from 7.26”

It now looks like the model had more snaps of her gorgeous pregnancy photo shoot in store for her fans. Gigi took to Instagram to share a brand new set of photos today from when she was 33 weeks pregnant with her and her boyfriend Zayn Malik’s first child.

“A few more from 7.26 ????,” Hadid captioned the first gallery of pictures. The 25-year-old Tommy Hilfiger model had on a white bra top with unbuttoned denim jeans in one shot as she placed a hand on her midsection.

’33 weeks,’ Gigi, whose full name is Jelena Noura Hadid, said in her caption. Which means that the model is 7 1/2 months along and is due in late October. Fellow models Christy Turlington and Ashley Graham ‘liked’ the post Hadid shared with her 57M followers. She also shared a behind the scenes video from the shoot.

“It was definitely more tiring than working normally”

In response to a fan who asked how modeling while pregnant felt, Hadid replied that it was “more tiring” than she expected. “I loved it, I knew what I wanted from the pics and Gab and L&I really made it happen for me???????????? but it was definitely more tiring than working normally,” Hadid wrote on Twitter, August 27. “Got through the second look and was like ‘guys I think I can only do two more’ ???? hahaaaa.”

“Obviously my pregnancy is not the most important thing going on in the world”

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Hadid’s glorious bump. Last month she showed it off during an Instagram Live with V Magazine. The model, who initially chose to keep photos of her pregnancy private, explained her reasoning on the same Instagram Live earlier in July.

“Obviously I think a lot of people are confused why I’m not sharing more. But like, I’m pregnant through a pandemic, like obviously my pregnancy is not the most important thing going on in the world,” Hadid started. “That’s a reason that I felt that it’s not really something that I need to share apart from with my family and friends. Obviously a lot of people have lost lives due to coronavirus, that was in the beginning of quarantine and still happening. And then we moved obviously into the reemergence of the BLM [Black Lives Matter] movement, and I thought that our presence on social media should be used for that.”

“I feel like right now I just want to experience it”

“I have been taking a lot of pictures of my bump and sending it to friends and family and it’s been very cute and exciting. And I’m trying to document it well because I’ve heard a lot of people say obviously make sure you don’t miss it,” she continued. “And I will be sharing stuff like that in the future. I just am not rushed to do it, and I feel like right now I just want to experience it. And I write in my journal a lot. I just don’t want to worry about waking up everyday during my pregnancy and like worry about having to look cute or post something.”

Gigi is now back in New York City with Zayn after spending the pandemic enjoying the great outdoors on her farm in Pennsylvania.
