Congratulations are in order for the Bella Twins! The former pro wrestlers, who were both pregnant, respectively shared similar photos to announce their sons’ arrivals along with their partners.
Nikki Bella Is A New Mom!
Nikki Bella who is officially a new mom, welcomed her first child, a baby boy, with fiancé, Artem Chigvintsev, on July 31. The Total Bellas star posted an adorable photo of her and Artem holding their newborn son’s hand. She wrote alongside the snap, “7/31/2020 ???? Our baby boy is here and we couldn’t be HAPPIER and more in LOVE! Everyone is safe and healthy.”
Within moments, Chigvintsev shared the same snap and expressed his excitement about becoming a father. “7/31/2020 please welcome our precious baby boy Chigvintsev ???? proud of my love @thenikkibella.”
Bella and the former Dancing with the Stars pro got engaged during a trip to France in November, two years after meeting on ABC’s hit dance-competition series.
Just A Day Apart
The former WWE competitor welcomed her son just one day before her identical twin sister, Brie Bella gave birth to her second child, also a boy. Brie and her husband, Daniel Bryan, welcomed their second child on Monday, July 1st. The new mom of two took to Instagram to announce the happy news, “It’s a BOY!!! ???? 8-1-2020. We are overwhelmed with joy and everyone is healthy!!!.” The couple, who wed in April 2014, are also parents to their 3-year-old daughter, Birdie Joe.
“When I saw the positive sign, I was like, Oh, s—! “
In January, Brie and Nikki Bella revealed in an exclusive joint interview with PEOPLE that they were both pregnant. Moreover, their due dates were less than two weeks apart!
Brie Bella spoke about her pregnancy at the time. “My husband and I were trying for seven or eight months. But then I felt in my heart it was a sign from God, like, ‘You guys are good with one,’ so we stopped trying.”
As seen on season 5 of Total Bellas, Brie and her husband then went on a retreat to Sedona, Arizona, to work on their relationship. However, a couple of weeks later, she started having pregnancy symptoms during a trip to France for Nikki’s engagement to fiancé, Artem Chigvintsev.
“When we were in France meeting Artem’s family, I felt a little off. I was irritated and uncomfortable in my body. When we got home, I took a test two days before Thanksgiving, and when I saw the positive sign, I was like, ‘Oh, s—!’ ” the former WWE competitor revealed.
“It’s something I have wanted to be my whole life”
Nikki, on the other hand has been quite open on their show, Total Bellas, about wanting to become a mother for a long time now. She even confessed that her pregnancy came as a surprise. “It took even me a good week to come to terms with like, ‘Oh my gosh, I’m pregnant,'” she said. “I’m not ready for it.” Of course, she was clearly overjoyed with the news.
“I can’t even begin to describe to all of you how happy I am! I’M GOING TO BE A MOM!!” she wrote on Instagram. “It’s something I have wanted to be my whole life. I was definitely shocked when I found out. And so nervous! I wasn’t expecting it and felt I wasn’t ready but this journey of life is unpredictable.”

Before giving birth, the twins also managed to strip down for a joint maternity shoot.
Brie shared some images from the stunning photoshoot last month, writing on Instagram, “This pregnancy has been a special one. To experience this with my sister during a time of uncertainty and turmoil has been a blessing.” She added: “As twins I kept wondering if our bodies were going to change the same or if we’d be different. It’s crazy how identical our pregnancies have become. From cravings to symptoms.”

Nikki also shared her pregnancy experience, writing, “Pregnancy has been an incredible journey so far, even through some of the toughest times we have faced in this world so far and through some of the most beautiful life changing times as well. I have embraced the changes of the human body, even though that can be tough at times. I have embraced the feeling of being uncomfortable knowing I am growing a life that will be one of my own. I have already felt the lioness in me come out even more knowing that I am ready to protect, teach, love and guide. And to go through all of this with my twin sister? Goodness I would say I am one lucky woman that God knew my timing of becoming a mom was divine.”
Lucky for Total Bellas fans, both Brie and Nikki’s journeys will be documented on season six of the E! show later this fall.
