Victoria Beckham and David Beckham reminisce 21 years together

One fairy tale wedding, four kids, countless matching outfits and 21 years later, the Beckhams love still flourishes. Victoria and David’s years together is a testament to love and finding your life partner.

Today officially marks 21 years since Victoria and David tied the knot in a star-studded wedding with iconic matching thrones. Victoria and David Beckham‘s romance is one for the history books. The couple first met each other at a charity football match in Manchester. They began dating in 1997 and around a year later, on 25 January, 1998, the pair announced their engagement.

When footballer David proposed to Victoria in 1998, he did it with a marquise cut diamond set on a yellow gold band. An insider has revealed, Posh spice has been accumulating sparkling rings and has around 15 engagement rings ever since. The couple welcomed their first child, Brooklyn, just a few months before the big day.

Victoria and David said ‘I do’ in a stunning ceremony held in Luttrellstown Castle in Dublin, Ireland. Their wedding will forever be written in history as one of the most lavish showbiz weddings. The couple had their second child, Romeo, in 2002. Cruz Beckham joined the brood in 2005. Their beautiful daughter Harper arrived in 2011.

Fast forward to 2020 and the Beckhams are still going strong. The gorgeous couple frequently shares updates on their family life, with eager fans on their social media platforms. Meanwhile, Brooklyn Beckham recently joined his family at the Cotswolds mansion earlier this week. The eldest Beckham could finally return home after being stranded in America for three months.

Victoria’s tribute to Becks

To commemorate their special day, Victoria Beckham shared a touching video on Instagram. The clip is a montage of some of her favorite moments from their marriage. The footage included snaps from their wedding day, numerous holidays and some unseen cherished memories.

Victoria also shared pics of her and David holding hands at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s wedding. The video included pictures of them at some high profile sporting events and awards shows over the years. Posh also delighted fans by adding in some of their hilarious fashion faux pas over the years. Victoria’s post was set to the music of a family friend. Sir Elton John‘s, Something About The Way You Look Tonight played as the clip featured the lovebirds and their children.

“Happy Anniversary @davidbeckham ❤️❤️❤️ I can’t believe it has been 21 years since we said “I do”. Four children, four dogs, so much laughter and I love you more each day. xxxxxx” wrote Victoria.

“Ohhhh I like that one in the little black catsuit.”

David Beckham shared his own tribute to Victoria, on his page. The footballer’s video included his favorite pictures and videos of the couple. The clip saw them dancing on their wedding day in their iconic matching purple outfits. Clicks of the couple holidaying together, and posing with their kids played on screen as the Spice Girls hit, Say You’ll Be There played.

“Well about 23 years ago I was sat in a room with Gary Neville and the spice girls were on the TV. I turned around to him and said “ohhhh I like that one in the little black catsuit.” wrote Beckham. “Who would have thought that all these years later we are celebrating 21 years of marriage and have 4 of the most beautiful and perfect kids. “Thank you & Happy Anniversary I Love You ♥️ @victoriabeckham.”
