Twitter Predicts Elon Musk Will Accept Dogecoin As Payment For Tesla Cybertruck

Elon Musk and his fascination with cryptocurrencies is not a new thing to anyone. The richest man on the planet is a public advocate of decentralized cryptocurrencies and holds Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Dogecoin in his wallet.

Recently, Elon Musk announced that Tesla’s merchandise store would start accepting Dogecoin. This sent the price of Doge 16% higher the next day.

Elon Musk Accepts Dogecoin

The items that can be purchased with Doge are:

  • Cyberquad for Kids (12,020 doge / around $2,320)
  • Giga Texas Belt Buckle (835 doge / around $161) and,
  • Cyberwhistle (300 doge / around $58).

In the UK, the S3XY Mug is only buyable using Dogecoin from the online Tesla store. The price of the merch is 150 doge (around $29).

Just yesterday, Elon Musk also sent out a tweet that he would eat a happy meal on live television if McDonald’s starts accepting Dogecoin.

One of the comments under the tweet says “Mom, Elon is pumping crypto again.” One user said “I will eat every meal for the rest of my life at McDonalds if they accept dogecoin”.

And now, the Twitter followers of Elon Musk are betting big on a prediction that Elon would accept Dogecoin as a mode of payment for the upcoming Tesla Cybertruck.

Taking to his official Twitter handle, Elon Musk wrote “Been driving latest Cybertruck prototype around Giga Texas. It’s awesome!”

The comments under the tweet have begun to plead Elon to accept Dogecoin as a means of payment for the Crybertruck. Many DOGEARMY members have even sent edits of Doge pasted on the Tesla Cybertruck in the comments.
