Twitch Streamer HasanAbi ‘Disgusted’ With ‘Boomer’ Dave Chapelle Jokes

Famous Comedian Dave Chapelle was recently embroiled in controversy after his Netflix special ‘The Closer’ came under fire for controversial ‘homophobic’ jokes. The jokes that Dave Chapelle made in his Netflix special The Closer were deemed offensive by the LGBTQ+ community.

While not everyone felt that Dave Chapelle made offensive jokes, Twitch Streamer Hasan Abi felt so. Hasan is a fan of Dave Chapelle and after the Netflix special, he said that he was disgusted and disappointed in his favorite comedian.

Why?

Hasan Abi says that the show was just ‘sad’ and Dave Chapelle is losing his touch now. He even went on to call Dave a ‘boomer’ telling things he does not understand.

“Even if you’re a Dave Chapelle fan like I am, seeing a mid-ass stand-up special was kind of f**king sad. It was just a boomer yelling about things that he cannot understand.”

Dave Chapelle Responds To The Controversy

Joe Rogan recently defended Dave Chapelle after the controversy broke out. He said that Dave was his good friend and he was not a homophobic or a trans-phobic man.

Joe Rogan is one of the biggest and most succesful podcast hosts on earth. He was recently dethroned by Minecraft Youtubers from the top spot of Spotify podcast charts.

Dave Chapelle has addressed the backlash on October 25 and has said that he willing to meet the LGBTQ+ community and discuss the matter with them.

The jokes in the Netflix special prompted the cancel culture activists to run cancel The Closer (Chapelle’s show) hashtags across social media.

Do you think that Dave Chapelle cracked the jokes on purpose or was he just ‘joking’ about the topic? Tell us your thoughts in the comments.
