Stranger Things Season 4 Finished Shooting, Confirms Noah Schnapp

According to actor Noah Schnapp, Stranger Things season 4 has finally concluded shooting. On the Netflix original series, Schnapp portrays Will Byers, who is kidnapped by the Demogorgon in season one and later possessed by the Mind Flayer.

Season 3 finishes with Will and his family leaving Hawkins, Indiana after defeating the Mind Flayer, resulting in a touching moment as Will says goodbye to his friends. Since the third season began in July of 2019, fans have been excitedly anticipating for the next chapter in the series.

Season 4 Will drop soon

Stranger Things season 4 has experienced obstacles due to the coronavirus pandemic, as did many other shows and movies in this century. Stranger Things season 4 began filming in February 2020, after being first revealed in September 2019 with a minute-long YouTube teaser. However, due to the impending pandemic, Netflix ordered all projects, including Stranger Things, to suspend filming two weeks later.

Stranger Things season 4 filming resumed on September 28, 2020, after numerous more delays. David, who plays Chief Jim Hopper in the series, indicated in June 2021 that filming will end in August of this year, which appears to be accurate after a recent update from Schnapp.

Stranger Things season 4 has finally ended filming, according to a footage released by Twitter user Stranger Things Spoilers. When asked if the show is still filming, Schnapp said, “We just ended, like last week,” then added, “yes, we’re done.” “We’ve been filming forever!” said Schnapp, pointing to the lengthy shooting process. They’re finally finished.”

Below is a transcript of Schnapp’s comment:

“We just finished, like last week. Yeah, we’re done. We’ve been filming forever! And they’re finally done. They’re putting together another teaser, then.”

While the Covid-19 pandemic is to blame for the majority of the filming delays, it is not the primary cause of the long production time.

Shawn Levy, the executive producer, also noted that the scale of Stranger Things season 4 has made filming extremely tough due to the large number of locations and ambitious nature of the season. While fans eagerly await the next part, which has yet to be given a firm release date, they should keep in mind that the more delays there are, the better the final product will be.
