Spectacular Firework and Bonfire on Guy Fawkes Night in Aberystwyth

Spectacular firework displays lit up the night sky in Aberystwyth, United Kingdom on Tuesday 5 November, 2019 as thousands celebrated fireworks and bonfire night. The Aberystwyth Round Table event was one of a number of firework celebrations took place in Mid Wales.

Crowds turned out in the town to see the colorful firework display from Constitution Hill, National Library of Wales, Aberystwyth Castle, Penparcau, other sites in town, however huge number of people were inside main event venue in Aberystwyth Rugby Club. Luke Baker, Chairman of Aberystwyth Round Table confirmed that they have raised over £9000.00 for local charities and good causes.

These stunning photos and videos captured the colorful displays above Aberystwyth with similar scenes being repeated at organised events across the region. The streets of historic Aberystwyth town were packed with spectators and south beach was alight with fire and celebration.

Guy Fawkes Night is annually held on November 5th in Great Britain. It is sometimes known as Bonfire Night to mark the failed gunpowder plot to blow up Parliament.

There’re plenty of fireworks and bonfire displays to choose from to make the most of Guy Fawkes night.
