Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput had started off their journey together with an arranged marriage. But they are now head over heels in love with each other. They completed five years of marriage yesterday and posted sweet messages for each other on social media.

Sharing a cute selfie with his wife, the actor wrote, “5 years. Gone by in a flash. Found beauty in the smaller things. Found happiness within not without. I found meaning to together we can. Found myself a little more walking by your side my love. Thank you for being you. And thank you for helping me be a better me. Happy anniversary my love.”

Earlier in the day, Mira had written, “5 years, 4 souls, 3 homes, 2 babies and 1 beautiful family. There’s nobody I’d rather be on this journey called life than you my love. I fall in love with you more every day. And I’m the luckiest girl in the world to have the love of my life be my best friend. Thank you for everything, for being my strength and for walking through everything together, hand in hand. I love you.”

She had also added on saying that Shahid makes her laugh like no else. She also had an advice for him as she said that the ‘wife is always right.’

The couple is proud parents to two kids – Misha and Zain. They have always been very vocal about their love for each other. And their PDA is something that gives us couple goals. Five years into this marital bond, and they are going very strong!
