Seeman, an actor and politician, has filed a lawsuit against The Family Man 2

On Saturday, actor-politician Seeman turned to Twitter to seek legal action against the second season of Amazon Prime’s The Family Man, which is presently streaming. In a statement, he requested that the Tamil Nadu government intervene and prevent the anti-Tamil event.

When the show’s trailer was aired on May 21, Seeman requested that the show be banned for slandering Tamils. Seeman has earlier sought a ban on the release of John Abraham’s Madras Café in Tamil Nadu for identical reasons. He issued a statement on Saturday explaining why he wants legal action taken against the show.

In his tweet, he wrote in Tamil. “We shall take legal and democratic action to prohibit and stop the anti-Tamil internet series The Family Man 2!” says the translation. According to his remarks, the show portrayed Sri Lankan Tamils negatively.

Manoj Bajpayee starred in the Raj & DK show, and Samantha Akkineni plays a Sri Lankan Tamil rebel in the second season. On June 4th, the show premiered on Amazon Prime.
