Season 4 of Cobra Kai will be released in December

Cobra Kai will return for its fourth season in December 2021, according to Netflix. YouTube first aired the Karate Kid sequel show in 2018 as part of its attempt to launch its own premium streaming service to compete with Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon. Cobra Kai is still available on Netflix, despite the fact that YouTube Red is no longer available.

After the show was picked up by Netflix, the third season of Cobra Kai was the first to be streamed. That season was historic in that it saw the return of Karate Kid character Ali Mills (Elisabeth Shue) as well as the further development of Daniel LaRusso’s (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence’s (Ralph Macchio) contentious relationship (William Zabka).

Of course, both Daniel and Johnny had their own challenges to overcome, as the former travelled to Okinawa to learn more about the history of his late mentor Mr. Miyagi, and the latter assisted Miguel (Xolo Mariduea) in his recovery from the terrifying injury he sustained in season 2 while also dealing with more drama surrounding his wayward son Robby (Tanner Buchanan).

As the season came to a close, much more action was set up, with the dojos agreeing to compete in a new All Valley Karate Tournament and a returning Karate Kid franchise villain being teased.

Return Of The Show

Along with releasing a new Cobra Kai season 4 trailer, Netflix has also revealed a rough date for the show’s return. Fans can expect to see the next chapter in the Karate Kid saga around the holidays, as the show is set to premiere in December.

That fourth season of Cobra Kai is already shaping up to be the show’s most action-packed run of episodes since its debut in 2018. Producers are also discussing spinoffs based on other characters from the show, but no specific plans have been revealed.

Cobra Kai’s popularity has been one of the more remarkable stories of recent years, as the show has succeeded in keeping The Karate Kid’s legacy alive while expanding its own storytelling to include new and compelling characters.
