The Coyotes, the French teen thriller series has officially fallen in the ambit of Netflix. The streaming giant acquired the global exclusive rights of the show and it is set to release by the end of 2021.
The Coyotes landed on a Belgian network titled RTBF in May 2021 with weekly episodes. There are a total of six episodes that have been aired so far.
And now, all the regions except Belgium will have exclusive ownership by Netflix. The six episodes of The Coyotes will be released on Netflix on 3rd December, 2021.
The storyline of the French-language thriller revolves around a scout crew and their summer expedition at Camp Warnaffe. The friendship of the crew is tested under different circumstances throughout their summer camp across six episodes. So far, a second season or any new episodes aren’t planned.
The cast members of the series are Nilton Martins, Steve Driesen, Louka Minella, Victoria Bluck, and Félix Vannoorenberghe while the show has been developed by Axel du Bus de Warnaffe, Vincent Lavachery, and Anne-Lise Morin.
As per entertainment tabloid WhatsonNetflix, at present, it looks like there will not be an English audio dub for the teen thriller. Instead, you’ll only have the original French-language audio alongside a multitude of subtitles options which will differ depending on where you live. If you’re wondering why the series is in French when it comes from Belgium, that’s because there are three main languages.
