The Sabrina Crossover Episode in Riverdale Season 6 is “amazing,”

The long-awaited crossover episode with Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has been hailed by Riverdale’s showrunner, who called it “amazing.”

Riverdale season 5 saw more big adjustments in its finale, starting with a seven-year jump into the future. Tensions between Archie (KJ Apa) and Hiram (Mark Consuelos) reached a breaking point when Hiram detonated a bomb at Archie’s home in the hopes of eliminating his lifelong enemy.

Despite the fact that both Archie and Betty escape, Hiram’s final act of revenge is certain to have a lasting effect on those closest to him, as the trailer for Riverdale season 6 shows.

Sabrina Crossover Episode Is Amazing

The teaser finished with Kiernan Shipka reprising her role as Sabrina Spellman from Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, along with its signature love drama and a possible pregnancy for Betty (Lili Reinhart). Cheryl Blossom (Madelaine Petsch) smiles as she speaks to Sabrina, laughing about “what the black cat carried in.”

Sabrina then turns to face Cheryl, displaying her own huge smile. Given how the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina series ended and how long fans had wanted Shipka to appear on Riverdale, the tease sparked a lot of discussion among fans. Naturally, this increased viewers’ interest in knowing more about how the crossover occurs.

Riverdale season 6 comes on The CW on Tuesday, November 16 with a five-episode event, and creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa spoke with TVLine to promote it. Aguirre-Sacasa revealed details about the forthcoming Riverdale event, including the scary elements that would vary depending on the episode. In terms of Sabrina’s Riverdale debut, the showrunner revealed that the crossover will take place in episode 4. Shipka and Petsch’s chemistry was also highly praised by Aguirre-Sacasa.

“The episode she’s in is amazing… It’s a very Cheryl/Madelaine [Petsch]-heavy episode. They had such an amazing rapport, and it felt so natural… It felt both like [it was] worth the wait, and ‘Why didn’t we do this sooner?’”

Riverdale and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, as well as the short-lived spinoff Katy Keene, have long been recognized as part of the same universe.

Minor and supporting characters have appeared in cameos and tiny guest parts on all three series in the past, with minor and supporting characters appearing in cameos and small guest appearances. Despite the fact that Aguirre-Sacasa has long expressed interest in a full-fledged crossover (and even planned a narrative called “The Witch War” at one point), Shipka is joining Riverdale many seasons after the teen drama started.
