Jeon Do Yeon and Ryu Jun Yeol Meet in a Romantic Midnight Rendezvous in the Teaser for ‘Lost’

JTBC’s 10th Anniversary Special Drama “Lost” (also known as “Human Disqualification” or “No Longer Human”), starring Jeon Do Yeon of “The Good Wife” and Ryu Jun Yeol of “Reply 1988,” debuted its newest video teaser.

The new video teaser elicited feelings and sensibility in viewers, heightening their anticipation.

Boo Jung and Kang Jae, played by actors Jeon Do Yeon and Ryu Jun Yeol, respectively, spark interest in the newly released video teaser by meeting in a nocturnal rendezvous.

An unknown yet heart-fluttering feeling abruptly greeted the two lonely people, in contrast to the gloomy and ominous air of the railroad where they were talking side by side.

The atmosphere between the despairing Boo Jung and Kang Jae arouses attention, from walking together to sleeping close to one other.

Kang Jae bravely begs whether he can touch Boo Jung’s face in the video, making spectators’ hearts race with eagerness.

Boo Jung and Kang Jae embraced each other as they lay on the bed together at the end of the video. The viewers’ anticipation for the twists and turns in the lives of the two protagonists was heightened by a quick glimpse of Boo Jung’s wedding ring.

“Lost,” JTBC’s 10th Anniversary Drama, is one of the most eagerly anticipated dramas of 2021. It is the first collaboration between actresses Jeon Do Yeon and Ryu Jun Yeol, and it also marks their return to the small screen after a six-year break.

The impending melodrama depicts the stories of two regular people who did their best but then realised they had turned into nothing in the middle of their life. It stars Jeon Do Yeon as writer Boo Jung and Ryu Jun Yeol as Kang Jae, a service operator who aspires to be wealthy one day.

When the two protagonists meet, though, everything changes. Surprisingly, Boo Jung and Kang Jae found in each other a new feeling of hope, comfort, healing, and sympathy.

The main focus of the drama series will be the two veteran actors’ emotional and distinctive chemistry. Both Jeon Do Yeon and Ryu Jun Yeol want to provide comfort and resonance to the viewers of the drama, who are often lost and dissatisfied with their life’ successes.

“Lost” is directed by Heo Jin Ho, a maestro of South Korean melodrama who created classics like “Astronomy,” “Spring Day,” and “Christmas in August,” along with scriptwriter Kim Ji Hye, who made people laugh with films like “My Love, My Bride” and “Introduction to Architecture.”

Actors Park Byung Eun from “Kingdom,” Park Ji Young from “Moon Lovers: Secret Heart Ryeo,” former Apink singer Son Naeun, and actress Na Hyun Woo are also in the cast.

Lost” will premiere on JTBC on September 4 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
