In No Way Home IMAX Poster: Spider-Man Enters the Multiverse
In a new IMAX poster for Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man enters the multiverse.
No Way Home picks up where Spider-Man: Far From Home leaves off, with Peter Parker coping with the consequences of Mysterio revealing his true identity to the world.
Peter enlists the aid of Doctor Strange in an attempt to regain control, but the spell Strange conjures goes horribly wrong, exposing the world to new dangers.
Spider-Man Enters the Multiverse
Strange’s magic opens portals from other dimensions, allowing villains from prior Spider-Man film franchises to enter the MCU’s main universe, as shown in the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailers. So far, the promotion has focused on Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock, with Jamie Foxx’s Electro, Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin, and others being confirmed. The multiverse is a huge aspect of No Way Home, whether or not Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are involved. It’s the subject of the most recent poster.
The poster, which was shared by IMAX as an exclusive to Screen Rant, features Spider-Man front and center, swinging from buildings that have clearly been warped by Doctor Strange’s magic. In the text, the one-sheet highlights the film’s multiverse aspect, urging people to see No Way Home in the premium format.
Take a look at the poster below:
Spider-Man: No Way Home, like other Marvel films and big-budget tentpoles, is building up to be a must-see in IMAX. The trailers have teased plenty of spectacle and action sequences, notably Peter and Doc Ock’s now-famous bridge fight scene.
No Way Home should take full advantage of the IMAX format when the film premieres in December, as previews have shown a mind-bending fight between Doctor Strange and Spider-Man.
No Way Home is predicted to have the biggest opening weekend of the year, and IMAX screenings are expected to be a key part of that. Because the film is only available in theatres, viewers who want to see it as soon as possible (to prevent spoilers) will have no alternative except to see it there.
