Hulu has renewed Love, Victor for a third season

Love, Victor has been renewed for a third season on Hulu. The 2018 film Love, Simon, starring Nick Robinson in the lead role, was the inspiration for the television series. Following the popularity of the film, 20th Television devised a tale set in the same universe, starring Michael Cimino as the main character, which was eventually picked up by the streaming site Hulu in 2020. The show’s showrunners are Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger.

Victor’s first season followed him as he dealt with family issues in a new place while also struggling with his sexual orientation. The second season of Love, Victor premiered in June. The second season continues Victor’s tale after he comes out, when many things in his life seem to have changed.

As he continues to struggle with problems at home with his family, he has relationship issues with Benji. However, a new possible love interest enters the picture, complicating matters further.

He’s having relationship issues with Benji, and he’s still dealing with familial issues at home. However, a new possible love interest appears, complicating matters.

Hulu’s decision to order a third season so soon after the second was launched shows that the streaming provider is confidence in the success of Love, Victor.

Even though there has been some pushback for straight guys playing queer roles, it’s reassuring to know that LGBTQIA+ material is being produced and distributed by one of the main streaming services. To compete with Netflix and other streaming services, Hulu must demonstrate its long-term viability.
