Akshay Kumar Reveals New Poster And Release Date Of His Upcoming Film ‘Bell Bottom’

The Khiladi of Bollywood is known for completing 2-3 films in a single year. However, the pandemic induced lockdowns have been a hiccup in shooting and getting things done for Mr Perfect of Bollywood.

Akshay Kumar’s latest upcoming film is the spy-thriller Bell Bottom. He posted a teaser and the release date last month as well. So what has changed now?

New Release Date

Well, the release has been postponed. It is now set to release on August 19,2021 than compared to July 27.

Storyline And Cast

He tagged the crew members in the tweet as well. Apart from Akshay Kumar and Huma Qureshi, the upcoming movie also features Vaani Kapoor and Lara Dutta in pivotal roles.

It is a movie about plane hijacks that shook the Indian soil in the 1980s.

Akshay Kumar will be seen playing the role of a RAW agent, Lara Dutta will portray the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi who was in power at that time when the hijack happened. Vaani Kapoor plays Khiladi Kumar’s wife in the film

Other Upcoming Projects

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar is currently working on his next film titled Raksha Bandhan, starring Bhumi Pednekar and Nushrratt Bharuccha.

A few days ago, he had revealed that he had gained extra kilos for his role in an upcoming movie.

“I enjoy the process of losing or gaining weight for a character because I can do it in a healthy way. I gained 5 kg in a completely natural way,” he said at the time.
