Fitness Influencer Arnold Vosloo Reveals What Inspired Him To Be A Weightlifter

Fitness already has a prominent name in the form of Arnold Schwarzenegger. If one was not enough, now we have the second name Arnold Vosloo who is a popular athlete. Rightly considered as the top-class physique athlete in the world, he weighs 250 lbs and is 6 feet 2 inches tall. He has a very captivating personality which can woo any woman. With good looks and incredible body, he is considered to be the ultimate male specimen. He grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa where he found his love in rugby at a very young age. He went on to play the game professionally for a few years after school while he simultaneously pursued a degree in logistics.

With time, he came to a realization that his body responded extremely well to lift weights after which he gave a shot to enter a bodybuilding show. His first show was the WBFF SA show in 2015 as a muscle model after which he managed to achieve his pro card in the second show as well. He started to see the progress after he was in the top 10 in Las Vegas. He then decided to make a career in weightlifting and after that, there has been no looking back for this man. After doing multiple WBFF shows and reaching as high as 2nd position in the European Championship, he decided to move over to the IFBB Pro League.

“I felt a sense of belongingness to the iron. Weightlifting and bodybuilding became my passion. I never thought I would come this far”, said Arnold. While speaking about the competition in weight lifting, he said, “I am not here to compete with others. My only focus is me and I just compete with myself.” Well, we are really impressed by his positive and motivational approach. The year 2019 has been fruitful for him as he won 3 shows including the Amateur Olympia in Spain. His ultimate goal is to be on the Olympia stage in Las Vegas and we are sure he will make a place for himself there in the coming years.
