Chrissy Teigen shared an emotional clip on her social media handle after she attended a therapy session. She had revealed about taking therapy after the loss of her son, Jack due to pregnancy complications.
The model was tear-stained as she was sharing her post-therapy filter while on a vacation with her family at St. Barts. She had previously revealed her grief counseling after a few difficult months.
The Cravings author shared the clip on her Instagram and has been vocal about her struggle with grief. She had shared about the intense grief counseling that she went through as she tries to do the best to work on herself and stay positive.
Chrissy had first announced that she and her husband, John Legend were expecting their third baby together. The couple shares two children, Luna and Miles. However, they lost their baby halfway through the pregnancy. She had shared a series of pictures of the moments from the loss.
The model was bleeding for days before being admitted to the hospital. She was diagnosed with partial placental abruption. The complication happens when the placenta separates from the wall of the uterus causing the baby’s airflow to be blocked. It came to a point where her body could not take it anymore.
The cookbook author shared her story with the world and received an immense amount of love from all of her well-wishers. It also ignited the conversation in social media about normalizing the pain of pregnancy. She took several breaks from her social media to focus on herself and her family.

However, the model revealed she is beginning to heal emotionally after the brutal and exhausting two months. She has been vocal about her emotional struggles as she assured fans that she has help around her, to get better. The cookbook author also assured she will soon be fixed.
In October she wrote on Instagram, “When I’m old and grey, I will look back on the last two months as being brutal, exhausting, sad, physically challenging, mentally painful b****** of a couple months,” as she talked about still trying to find laughter. The model further revealed that her grief was so extreme that she could only take baths instead of showers.
Chrissy explained that she could not stand since the loss of the baby. However, she seems to get better every day. “I already see the leaves as orange instead of grey, realized the sky is indeed blue and not black and horn honks on my forced morning walks only bring me to my knees half the time,” she shared in November.
She further shared that she can make it up her stairs only after stopping once or twice. The model also shared how she can get out of the bathtub all by herself but John would have to dry her off. She declared that she thinks it’s happening.
Chrissy talked about a rather transformative period of her life around her 35th birthday. It helped her see joy along with counseling as she seems to be on the road to recovery. The model wrote a lengthy essay as she updated her fans on Instagram. She wrote, “The intense grief and physical pain was gone. My brain was back and my bonessssss, I’m telling you, my bones came back. I will never forget this period of time.”
