Cardi B has never shied away from setting people to the right path. The rapper clapped back at Candace Owens after she made some comments about Joe Biden.
On Sunday, both Candace and Cardi exchanged a few heated messages. The conservative political activist criticized Cardi’s interview with Biden for Elle magazine. She said that the interview was one of the biggest insults. Candace even compared it with an example with Donald Trump.
She said, “This would be akin to Donald Trump saying, ‘I’m going to give no interviews’ but he decided to give an interview to Justin Bieber. It would be absurd…it’s because you’re pandering.” The political figure made these comments in an interview with Ben Shapiro.
In a clip posted from the interview, Candace calls Cardi “illiterate”. She went ahead and made more shocking comments about the rapper. The activist said that Joe’s team looks at Cardi’s Instagram because of her millions of followers. Candace further accuses that his team thinks Cardi is illiterate and if they appeal to her, Black people will vote for him.
She said, “[Joe’s team] looks at Cardi B’s Instagram, you see millions of followers, and you think, ‘okay, this is an illiterate person and if I appeal to this person that says okurr in the middle of the interview…Black people will vote for me.’ Basically saying, ‘Black people you are stupid, you are dumb. And you’re so foolish.’”

The political activist further went on to say that Joe was being handled and told, “‘Black people like this person. This is what they’re into. Talk to her.’” However, as we know, Cardi never holds back or stays quiet when someone talks behind her back. The rapper gave the most epic response to the activist which had her trending the entire day.
Cardi took to her Twitter to remind Candace that she has the number one song, WAP featuring Megan Thee Stallion. She also said she has a huge platform and millions who can go and vote for a man like Donald Trump. However, she writes she does not want to argue with Candace because she does not have time for that. The rapper said she feels really sorry for the activist because she was used.
“Yes you are right I have the number 1 song & I have a huge platform and I can make millions go vote to get the MAN THAT USED YOU. I don’t want to argue with you Candace I really don’t have the time. I honestly just feel sorry for you,” Cardi tweeted. The rapper also explained how her sister, Hennessy Carolina, was harassed with her girlfriend, by Trump supporters in Hamptons.
Candace responded to the rapper and said Joe had to talk to her because she has the number one song. Addressing her sister’s harassment, she said he also had to talk to you because Santa Claus harassed her sister. The activist sarcastically wrote, “Um. K. Thanks for clearing that one up.”
Cardi Claps Back On Being Called Dumb By Candace
But that was not the end, Candace further argued with the rapper for supporting Biden and encouraging millions to do too. She said Cardi is encouraging millions to vote for a man that locked up entire generations of Black men. Advicing Cardi, she wrote, “Maybe go google: JOE BIDEN AND 1994 CRIME BILL.”
The political activist further wrote that Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders used her. She said none of them know or like her music and thinks she is dumb. Cardi also responded to this and said, “And you are encouraging millions to vote for a man who laugh every time a Black men gets killed by a cop and tell millions of Americans to drink bleach…” She was referring to when Trump advised the people to drink a component for bleach to not contract coronavirus.
The rapper further said that Trump didn’t even let her talk at the Republican convention. Cardi added that he thinks Candace is dumb and that MAGA did not do the right thing for her. The Fashion Nova ambassador further asked Candace how is she mad at her in spite of all that. She also added explaining to her fans that Candace “needs to be mad at Trump, not me.”
The WAP singer took to her Instagram as well to respond to Candace and posted an 8-minutes long video. She started out saying how it is no secret that she uses her platform to encourage people to vote and that she loves politics. The rapper then addressed the beef with Candace and said that the activist said some really bad stuff about her.
She continued, “Joe Biden sat down with me to speak with me…and why wouldn’t he? I have millions of followers. And I pay millions in taxes. I have the #1 song in this country…I can encourage millions of followers to go vote.”
Cardi then went ahead and asked why Trump is race hating against Hispanic and Black people? She added those are the people that get killed the most by police. The rapper clapped back and said, “b—-. You wanna call me a dumb b—-, you wanna call be illiterate — girl, you’re getting pimped out by a white man…this man doesn’t even have the decency to let you talk at the Republican Convention,” Cardi also said in the charged video.
