BTS will perform the world premiere of ‘Butter’ with ‘friend’ Megan Thee Stallion
So long mate! After over two years, the BTS ARMY will be able to see BTS play live for the first time, and we couldn’t be more excited. BTS was named as one of the performers at the American Music Awards, which revealed a portion of the lineup for this year’s awards show.
The boy group made the announcement on Twitter, sharing a 15-second preview of their ‘Butter’ music video mixed with Megan Thee Stallion’s clips, giving fans a little peek into what they may expect from the world premiere performance. The caption highlighted their friendship with the American rapper who appears on a remix version of the song, referring to her as a “friend” and expressing their excitement for the performance. Megan Thee Stallion retweeted it, adding to her own pleasure.

The in-person performance will precede the boys’ four-day concert in Los Angeles, which will be their first in two years. ‘PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE- LA‘ will take place November 27-28 and December 1-2.
The group has been nominated for the first time in the Artist Of The Year category at the American Music Prizes 2021, which is widely regarded as one of the night’s most coveted awards. Though BTS’ brilliance and influence are obvious, the prize serves as a historic moment in an artist’s career, particularly for a non-American act that has defied all language and border obstacles that have stood in its way.
