Ben Affleck Praises Ex Jennifer Lopez 17 Years After Split

Ben Affleck has nothing but appreciation for his ex, Jennifer Lopez. The actor labelled his ex-fiance as the “hardest-working person” in the industry in an InStyle magazine feature about her.

The couple was one of the most talked-about pair in the Hollywood industry. They were engaged in 2002 but they eventually went their separate ways 17 years ago. And even now the star has praise for the singer-turned-actress.

Ben shared that he thought he had a good work ethic but he was completely humbled and blown away by what Jennifer was committed to doing every day. He said, I thought I had a good work ethic, but I was completely humbled and blown away by what she was committed to doing day in and day out, the seriousness in which she took her work, the quiet and dedicated way she went about accomplishing her goals, and then how she would go back and redouble her efforts.”

The Pearl Harbor actor further shared that Jennifer remains the hardest-working person he has come across in this business. He added, “She has great talent, but she has also worked very hard for her success, and I’m so happy for her that she seems, at long last, to be getting the credit she deserves.”

Ben also joked about her youthful appearance and asked where does she keep her fountain of youth. He said, “Why do you look the same as you did in 2003, and it kind of looks like I’m in my 40s…at best?”

Jennifer seems to have hailed exes who have an only appreciation for her. even her ex-husband has nothing but praise for her. Jennifer and Marc Anthony share 13-year-old twins Max and Emme. The singer also echoed the comments which were made by the Batman star. He said Jennifer is the first one in the room and the last to leave. “She’s the first one in the room and the last to leave. The hardest worker I’ve ever met,” he added.

Marc said when they were together it was the opposite for him and that has changed since then. He said that he has learned so much from her and that she is the original. J-Lo is currently dating Alex Rodriguez, although the pair have reportedly had a turbulent time of it of late.
