Austin McBroom Sued By Beverly Hills City For Holding Unauthorized Fan Meet

The Ace-family patriarch has found himself in more legal trouble now. While he had a successful Battle of Platforms event in early 2021 where he organized the boxing event between YouTubers and TikTokers, the journey after that has been downhill for the YouTuber.

Multiple Ongoing Lawsuits

Austin McBroom was sued by multiple organizations for defamation and fraud. His family is also currently facing foreclosure and eviction from their $7 Million home because of missing mortgage payment. And amidst all this, a new lawsuit has been filed against the YouTuber.

Austin McBroom has also been accused of not paying the fighters who participated in the Battle of Platforms event. And the City of Beverly Hills has now filed a lawsuit against him demanding $200,000 in damages.

Latest Lawsuit

The lawsuit is filed because Austin McBroom held an ‘unruly’ fan meetup before the Battle of Platforms event.

The Beverly Hills City alleges that Austin McBroom did so to pump up publicity before the big boxing event he was leading and to maximize its profitability.

“[McBroom] hatched a scheme to hold an unauthorized assembly in the form of a parade through the streets of Beverly Hills,” the lawsuit alleges.

According to official rules, any parade that needs to be done in Beverly Hills should seek permission before hand and provide assurance that all public safety concerns will be kept in mind. However, Auston McBroom did not do any of it.

“He actively encouraged his supporters and those in the parade to unlawfully shut down Rodeo Drive,” according to the lawsuit. The lawsuit cites references from the Instagram posts that Austin posted from the unauthorized fan meetup.

“The unruly gathering involved hundreds of individuals and constituted a threat to the public peace, health, safety, and welfare by loud noise, obstructions of a street and other public rights of way, destruction of property, and littering of trash.

“McBroom later bragged about this unlawful act on social media.”
