Asmongold Shares Story Of Early Streaming Days When He Had No Money
Asmongold is one of the biggest Twitch streamers on the planet today. However, this wasn’t always the case, especially when the streamer was just starting out.
Asmongold got candid about his early streaming days in one of his latest videos. He revealed the reason why he ventured into streaming and how at one point he had no money to get his falling teeth fixed.
The actual reason why Asmongold started streaming was his mother. “My mum getting sick forced me into streaming,” explained Asmon. “I couldn’t leave the house because I had to take care of her.”
Asmongold did not start out his career with Twitch. He started making videos on YouTube and then later turned towards Twitch. Today, he remains active on both the platforms.
Streaming For Money
“That’s why I started making YouTube videos,” he explained. “I couldn’t get a job. I could barely go to school because of that.”
“Ironically, most people say they didn’t start streaming for money. I did. All my teeth were falling out because I could never afford to go to the dentist or anything. They were getting so bad that it was just terrible.”
“I went home with that bill, and I wanted to kill myself,” said Asmon. “I was like, there’s no way I can ever get above that. This is it. This is the end of my life.”
“In a way, I’m glad my teeth fell out.”
In the past, the streamer talked about his mental struggles and said that he felt like killing himself.
Asmongold: (he was quick to respond by saying) “I probably shouldn’t say this, I’ve wanted to kill myself many times, yeah, absolutely,”
