The Narcotics Control Bureau detained and arrested Shah Rukh Khan’s elder son Aryan Khan after a cruise drug bust, and he was remanded to NCB custody. A court on Monday ordered Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Khan Merchant, and Munmun Dhamecha to be held in NCB custody until October 7th.
During the bail hearing, NCB requested that they be held in custody until October 11 for violations of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act’s sections 8(c), 20(b), 27, 28, and 29. Advocate Satish Maneshinde, who represented Rhea Chakraborty last year, represented Aryan Khan.
Orders From Court
The court ordered Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Khan Merchant, and Munmun Dhamecha to be remanded in NCB custody till October 7 after hearing all arguments. It noted in its order, “The co-accused had intermediate contraband on their person. They were joined by the accused. The value of investigation cannot be overstated. It will be essential for both the prosecution and the accused to establish their guilt.”
“After reading the reasons, I am not convinced that the accused’s claims are valid. The date and time are shown on the panchnama and the arrest memo. It is necessary to keep the arrested person in custody. Their presence is required for a thorough examination. In a recent raid on a cruise ship where Aryan Khan was present, the NCB discovered illegal drugs. Officials said Aryan was arrested on the basis of evidence acquired against him throughout the inquiry. Following the arrest of Aryan Khan, an old interview of Shah Rukh Khan from the show Rendezvous with Simi Garewal began to circulate on social media.
“I’m sure you’re going to spoil your son,” Simi Garewal says to Shah Rukh Khan in the interview. “No, not at all,” he said, “I’ve just informed him that when he’s three or four years old, he may go after girls, smoke as much as he likes, use drugs, have sex, and womanize.”
