Anne Hathaway Confirms The Name Of Her Son & Talks About The Witches

Anne Hathaway talked about her 11-month old son and opened up about being pregnant during the filming of ‘The Witches’. The actress also finally confirmed the name of her son, Jack, to who she secretly gave birth last year.

She made a virtual appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan to promote her new movie, The Witches. The actress said she now has a beautiful almost-11-month-old baby boy and revealed she was pregnant when she was filming her upcoming movie. She said technically her baby is all over that performance.

Anne opened up about the baby after Kelly Ripa said how she was pregnant the last time she was on the show. The actress also talked about her first fitting for The Witches and appreciated the costume designer, Jonanna Johnston. She revealed how they went through a bit of an obstacle in dressing her initially and called the designer a “legend”.

The actress revealed how the designer wanted her to have a really tight waist and Anne had just found out she was pregnant. She said she denied dressing up like that and the designer asked her why. Anne said, “And I was like, ‘Eh, you know, I just know myself.’ I’m scrambling for a reason.”

The Devil Wears Prada actress further explained how she told the designer she won’t be as free if she is constrained around the middle. She then suggested that everything should be made very loose.

The actress is starring in a role from the 1983 book. The character was previously played by Anjelica Huston in the 1990 film. She had revealed previously what went into making the children book’s villainess.

Hathaway Talks About Her Babies

Anne had revealed, “The Grand High Witch was a total collaboration between costumes, hair, and make-up, the writers, my dialect coach, the effects department, stunts, [director] Bob Zemeckis and myself.”

Describing her character she had shared how her character is such a weirdo, silly, and over-the-top. She revealed how everyone had to be on the same page so it felt “big and entertaining but never too much.”

Anne further talked about her oldest son, Jonathan Rosebank. She shares the babies with her husband, Adam Shulman. She talked about how Jonathan is adjusting to his new baby brother. The actress said there is no coping just love and she said Jack is big enough to wrestle with. She said, “That’s brought a new element to their relationship that’s really cute.”

The Interstellar actress had announced her second pregnancy back in July last year. She secretly gave birth to her second baby later that year and did not make any formal announcement. However, the couple and their kids were spotted in Connecticut in December last year.
