Angelina Jolie Calls The Trial ‘Unfair’ As Brad Pitt Wins Custody Of Their Children

They have been fighting in court since they split in 2016.

Now, the judge has officially ruled that Brad Pitt can get custody of his children with Angelina Jolie.

Brad Pitt has been given custody of his children with Angelina Jolie after a five-year court battle, a source and many media outlets confirmed.

Decision Of The Court

The decision comes shortly after Angelina, 46, filed a motion that the judge was barring her young children from testifying in court, claiming that the case was “unfair”.

Judge John Ouderkirk ruled that the 57-year-old Moneyball actor had significantly increased his time with his five young children – Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 14, and twins, Vivienne and Knox, 12.

The eldest son Maddox is now 19 years old and not under custody.

The judge’s decision was based on a growing body of evidence from people who spent time with children, including doctors and pediatricians.

2016 Divorce Of Angelina And Brad

Brad and Angelina have been vying for custody of their young children since they separated in September 2016.

Angelina recently filed a lawsuit in court against Judge Ouderkirk stating that he would not allow minor children to testify, and therefore “improperly omitting [Angelina’s] evidence relevant to children’s health, safety and well-being, critical evidence in her case. . ”

It is not clear where the evidence points to or what she wanted the children to testify.

Domestic Violence And Child Abuse

However, Angelina filed (closed) documents in March to provide “evidence and authority” to support allegations of domestic violence.

Shortly after their divorce in 2016, Brad was investigated for child abuse following an alleged private jet altercation with the couple’s son, Maddox (then 15).

Brad was cleared by the Department of Child and Family Services and the FBI two months later.

Angelina at the time said she wanted a divorce because of “family health.”

After her complaint against Judge Ouderkirk, a source close to Brad told HollywoodLife: “Brad’s only goal is to be able to see the children. His priorities are the best for the children and to spend a lot of time with them. Angelina’s priority is to prevent them from spending time with Brad. “
