The most talked music reality show in the town – American Idol finally got its winner and runner-ups yesterday. After months of a singing competition between American Idol contestants, we got the top three- Leah Marlene, Noah Thompson, and HunterGirl.They took the stage on May 22, to give a final challenge to other participants, in hope of winning.
Final Performances At Season 20 Stage
The top 10 contestants kick off the grand finale with their performances with Flo Rida. Leah Marlene is the first finalist to perform at the Grand Finale. Indeed, she rocks out to ‘Cover Me’ by Bruce Springsteen. The judge, Katy Perry compliments her performance and calls her the ‘Complete Package’. Lionel Richie raves that Marlene’s presence is all the way there.
Followed by the next performance of HunterGirl. She took the stage to next level while performing ‘Dancing in the Dark’. Katy Perry seems to be impressed by her singing, she calls her a supernova and just not the star. Luke Bryan shares that on his weekend trip everyone he came across was rooting for HunterGirl.
Noah Thompson, the winner is here. The last finalist takes on Bruce’s ‘I’m On fire’ and brings the swoon. After his performance, the crowd goes viral. Katy Perry tells Noah that he “swooped in and grabbed every heart in America” with his final performance.
