Renner and Steinfeld are seen giggling in a car on the set of Hawkeye
Hawkeye stars Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld got along pretty smoothly on shooting, according to new behind-the-scenes photos.
Hawkeye is the newest upcoming show from the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s live-action television wing. Following up on their first successful series WandaVision with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki, Marvel scaled up their Disney+ content in a big manner in 2021, following up on their first successful series WandaVision with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki.
Hawkeye, the arrow-slinging Avenger, is the most recent to receive this treatment, with the first two episodes of the six-episode Hawkeye series due to air on November 24.
From the sets of Hawkeye
Clint Barton (Linda Cardellini, Ava Russo, Ben Sakamoto, and Cade Woodward) tries to take his family on a vacation in New York City but is caught up in the city’s criminal underbelly. On the way, he unwillingly links up with Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop, a fan who, despite his doubts, becomes his pupil.
Vera Farmiga and Brian d’Arcy James will play Kate Bishop’s parents, Zahn McClarnon will play William Lopez, and Alaqua Cox will play Maya Lopez AKA Echo, who will have her own MCU spinoff series.
Renner shared two behind-the-scenes photographs from the set of Hawkeye on his Instagram stories. Both photos are from the same scene, in which Clint is driving Kate to an unknown location in a beat-up automobile. The actors were clearly having a good time on set, since both photographs show them laughing, indicating that they had a far better working relationship than their characters.
Take a look at the images below:
Because so much of the series’ plot is still unknown, it’s unclear where the characters will go or how significant this sequence will be in the overall story. The marks on the side of the automobile door, on the other hand, appear to be more than normal wear and tear.
It’s probable that the truck will appear in an action scene in which the characters are pursued by one of the various forces after them, including Fra Fee’s clown mercenary Kazi and Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova, who was assigned to the job in Black Widow’s end-credits stinger.
